Awakening
A quiet mind is a lamp re-lit, To the path of dharma , where shadows quit. No longer lost on the boundless sea, But turn inward, simply to see. From asat's dream, where life is stale, To sat's pure moment, that will not fail. We shed the masks of role and name, To stand as self , in true bright flame. From tamas deep, the dark we know, To jyoti's dawn, where insights glow. The heart must speak, the heart must hear, In silent watchfulness, with mind held clear. From mrityu's wait, the weary plight, To amrita's joy, of inner light. No past, no future, nowhere to roam, Just conscious stillness, and coming home. A voyage starts now, with love's exchange, Across the self, the infinite range. To wake and watch, alone, awake, The perfect life we rise to take.
