The Canvas of Life
Born into life, a canvas white,
A space to fill with colorful light.
With strokes of joy, loss and gain,
Each mark a tale of cheers or pain.
Start to sketch with dreams so bright,
With meanings placed in black and white.
A purpose drawn, a path you tread,
Yet shifting shades paint where you're led.
At times, the world will cheer you on,
At times, they'll disturb your path.
Some lines will break, some colors fade,
Some dreams fulfilled, some hopes mislead.
Know that life is neither full nor bare,
Not bound by any meaning there.
A vast expanse, an open door,
In the artist’s hand—could you ask for more?
So paint with courage, shape your view,
Choose your colors, bold or true.
For life’s no script, nor fate’s decree,
But simply what you let it be.
